Introduction
The Gold Cup is the continental tournament for CONCACAF. It was first be contested after World Cup VIII and Jamaica defeated Panama on penalty kicks to win the title.Jamaica has won the first two Gold Cups, defeating Panama and Trinidad & Tobago in the finals. Both games required overtime to crown a champion. Honduras has reached the semifinals twice, but has only won one bronze medal as a result.
