Introduction
The Euro Cup is the continental tournament for UEFA. It was scheduled to be contested following World Cup VI, but was delayed and eventually it was first contested after World Cup VIII.The tournament consists of four groups of four teams playing a single round robin where the top two teams advance to the knockout round.
